Arrive Longreach at 6.00pm then join the rail/coach connection to Winton, where AB (Banjo) Paterson wrote Waltzing Matilda in 1895. We will arrive at WintonTent City around 8.00pm. We recommend that you purchase dinner on the train before arriving in Longreach. Alternatively, there will be food venues operating at the Festival. Enjoy breakfast in Tent City before joining in the daily activities on offer at Outback Festival. Our tour coach will be available to transfer you between venues every day. Today’s activities include the Outback Iron Man/Iron Woman events, Wool bale rolling, plus a host of workshops on whip cracking, indigenous art & music, and children’s circus. Enjoy a final breakfast at your Tent City home before bidding farewell to your Outback Festival community. We will depart Tent City at 8.30am and travel back to Longreach for your return flight to Brisbane (additional cost). Time in Longreach to experience the stories behind the dawn of aviation at the Qantas Founders Museum. Board your return flight to Brisbane after an action packed short break in the outback!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TENT CITY
* Tent City is designed to take the hassle out of camping with modern tents already erected for patrons upon their arrival. Staff will be available on-site to assist patrons. These modern 2-3 person tents are carpeted, fully screened, have fold-up beds and mattresses and are fitted with an internal light. Guests only need to bring (sleeping bags, pillows etc.) towels, folding chairs & personal requirements. Breakfast will be provided on site. Hot showers, toilets & communal tea/coffee making facilities are provided, and a large covered shade area to relax under after a big day’s entertainment. ‘Snooza Paddy’s’will be its own thriving community for the duration of the Outback Festival.
