'Outback Friday Spectacular', Friday 27 Sept, 2013

Fun and mayhem racing the humble outhouse (or dunny). You will need a team of 5 (plus 1 reserve) to join in and be a part of Outback Queensland's quirkiest event as seen on Queensland Weekender. A great opportunity for corporate groups as sponsorship promotion can be featured on your outhouse. This event is a highlight of our Outback Friday Spectacular activities - not to missed! Over 5,000 in prize monies and trophies to be won. Registration fee is $50 per team.

Eligibility: Competitors must be aged 16 years or over - limited numbers accepted. Note: Registration does not include entry to the Outback Friday Spectacular celebrations commencing 12.00pm on Friday 27 September. Please purchase tickets separately for this event.

Calling all 'Masters' of the Outback teams. You will need 4 team members made up of 2 male and 2 females (a couple of pigeon pairs!). Up to $2000 in prize money to be won. Registration fee is $20 per person ($80 per team).

Eligibility: All competitors must be over 35 years of age and must participate fully in every event over the 5 days. Sorry, but if you are planning on competing in either the 2013 Outback Ironman or Iron woman events, you are not eligible to compete in the masters.

Tough Kids, tough events, and loads on fun. Test your skills in fun outback events featuring swag toss, opal miner's dash, mini marathon and whip cracking. Final challenge... can you Tug a Mini? Prizes for both age groups plus and overall prize winner.

Eligibility: Competitors must be aged 10-12 yrs. or 13-15 yrs. Boys and girls compete together. Numbers are capped so please book early to avoid disappointment. Registration fee is $10 per person.

Here's your chance to learn or improve your outback whip cracking skills. FREE whip cracking workshops (3 hour in duration) for adults and children. Each workshop is limited to 8 crackers with instructor Brian Fay, 5 times Australian Whip Cracking Champion.
